Air Force Museum
The Air Force Museum presents the history of German military aviation and of the air force from the beginning to the present. On the former airfield of the Berlin-Gatow Airport, hangars and the tower are now used to exhibit a great number of military aircraft and AAW systems from World War I to our day. As directed by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on 19 March 1999, the Military History Research Institute (MGFA) provides expert support on the compilation of the military history collections of the Bundeswehr.
